John Pacifico spoke to the crowd. After the showing John said that he was amazed at how many people were so enthused and excited to see this preview of The Pacific.	Joni Holland did an excellent job as coordinator of the event. Thanks Joni! Here she holds a Thank You Plaque that was given to HBO.
Donald Basilone, John's younger brother, did not let the cancelled flights (due to the weather) stop him from attending. From Florida he rode a train for 20 hours in order to attend the event.
Many Basilone family members were in attendence. Janice Basilone Kretch, John's Niece, on the far right was present. Janice at age 4 appeared on the front page of The Messenger Gazette in a photo with her Uncle John.
