Corporal Rocco J. Scarpone
Rocco Scarpone Was married to Jennie Zelano. Died Apr 20th, 1944 in the sinking of a troop transport ship in the Mediterranean. Rocco DeMelio of Raritan was also killed in the same sinking.	He lived at 39 Frelinghuysen Avenue. But is it not clear which home this was. The home pictured above stands at that address today, however the street numbers on Frelinghuysen Avenue look like they may have been re-numbered over the years. If this is the location, the house looks too new. The old house was probably knocked down. If any one knows, let us know.
