Football was exciting. It was competitive. It was both hard work and great fun. And in those days the Quarterback called the plays which I thoroughly enjoyed.
In Somerville we had gathered a group of boys together who came from different towns, varied backgrounds, and a range of athletic skills. Somehow our coaches brought us together as a team where we learned life long values: teamwork, sacrifice, discipline, commitment, and loyalty.
