-The new building of the “Raritan Savings Bank” is complete. It presents a very fine appearance.

-The stork delivered a girl at the home of H.P. Wyckoff last week.

-There will be a masquerade ball at St. Rocco Hall on Saturday Night.

-The pumping station of Dukes Estate is now complete. So water can now be pumped back into the canal.

-The Raritan Woolen Mills just got 30 new Looms.

-There was some fine skating on the canal last week.

-”Decker’s Moving Pictures” will be shown at St. Bernard's Hall on Friday Evening, April 18th, at 7 PM.

-Father Zimmer celebrated his 30th anniversary as pastor of St. Bernard's Church on Sunday. -A committee was appointed to confer with Senator Frelinghuysen regarding legislation which will authorize the town to lay out new streets.

-Miss Mary Spearl, age 9, died at the Somerset Hospital last week after an operation for appendicitis. The funeral was held at St. Ann’s Church on Saturday. Interment was in St. Bernard's by “DeMond & Greene”.
