Coach Joe Fisher said "Grosso was the intimidator. He controlled the games and the rebounds. He lifted everyone else on the team. he was fearless" | ||||||||
Mike Grosso recalls that the 1965 season was a fun ride. He remembers that as the team kept winning in the playoffs that the excitement level in Bridgewater / Raritan kept rising. Today Mike says "God bless the community as they were all behind us." He especially is grateful for how the local residents traveled to the semifinal game at Camden to cheer them on. | ||||||||

Mike's mother Maggie Grosso was Raritan's 1st Librarian She held that position for 25 years. Today a garden at the library is dedicated to her. | ||||||||
